Our team is producing a video series to encourage support-seeking and combat barriers to care amongst service members and the general public. The educational series targets key stakeholders in suicide prevention, such as military commanders, spouses, and healthcare providers, to help them find the best words to discuss mental health and support seeking. This project bridges the gap between suicide research and its real-life application by providing stakeholders with the language to discuss mental health and suicide that has historically not been talked about.
You can watch the first video in the series here: Finding the Words: Families & Loved Ones
