Yumina is a Senior Operations Manager at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS), where she has served since August 2024. She has over 30 years of experience in educational leadership and public programs, directed educational organizations, coordinated grants and sponsorship programs, and developed curriculum and activities for school, public and community projects for all ages and abilities.
Yumina holds an MEd in International Education from Harvard University Graduate School of Education and a BA in Linguistics from Smith College. She has a proven track record of driving community-focused, learner-centered, and research-based educational programs in both Japan and the United States. Previously, she worked at Santa Fe College in Florida, where she developed sponsored programs, including a college-wide mental health initiative. As Director of Young At Art Museum, Yumina created innovative and inclusive community programs that addressed social-emotional, behavioral, and mental wellbeing.
