Suyapa Muñoz received a BS in Biology and a BA in Psychology from the University of Texas at San Antonio (2023). Before joining the team, Suyapa worked as a street outreach specialist. Her outreach and case management connected people experiencing homelessness to community resources. She has additionally supported multiple public health projects with a focus on family planning, gender norms, and COVID-19 prevention behaviors. Her research interests include PTSD, substance use prevention, and suicide prevention.
