Sarah is a Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS). She received her BS in Psychology from Santa Clara University, where she worked as an undergraduate research assistant in the Social Cognition and Comparison Lab. She is currently working towards her MA in Educational Psychology, focusing on Research Methods, Measurement, and Evaluation at University of Connecticut. She has previous experience in the mental health field as a case manager, supporting those in the community with mental health conditions and substance abuse disorders. She also works with NAMI within their Ending the Silence outreach program, speaking to middle schoolers and high schoolers about misconceptions, stigma, and warning signs of mental health conditions and how to seek help.
