Payton received her BS for Integrated Science, Business, and Technology from LaSalle University, and her MPH from George Washington University. She has an extensive trauma research background, previously working on TBI projects at Johns Hopkins University and UCLA. She is currently working on the M-PACT study and the MDMA-AT study under the direction of Dr. Aaron Wolfgang.
