Nicholas Lindner, MS

Nick is a Graduate Assistant at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS). He joins CSTS from Teachers College, Columbia University where he is a second-year student in the M.A. Clinical Psychology program. He separated from the U.S. Army in 2024 after seven years of service, the majority of which was with 5th Special Forces Group. He has experience researching reintegration programs for Veterans, emotion regulation, and obesity. Nick currently holds an M.S. in Nutrition Education from American University (2021) and a B.A. in Government & Law from Lafayette College (2017). He aims to utilize his background in psychology and the military to advance well-being and psychological resilience as a member of the SAFEGUARD team.
