Miranda has been with the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress since July 2022. She graduated with her Masters in Public Administration and International Education Management from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey, CA in 2018. She currently serves as the Senior Program Coordinator for the Suicide Prevention Program. Her previous background includes leading cultural exchanges in Central America, providing case management support to people living with HIV in Northern California,  backstopping counter trafficking programs in Thailand, and managing U.S. based counter-trafficking efforts. Miranda gained experience in conflict resolution by conducting workshops for the Salinas Valley State Prison in addition to working with at-risk youth on non-violent communication. She has also consulted for organizations in Nepal, Ghana, and India on issues of public health, counter trafficking, and international exchange respectively.
