Luke is the study coordinator for the Child and Family Program at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS). He graduated in May, 2023 from the University of Maryland Honors College with a B.S. in Neuroscience. At UMD, he worked as a research assistant in Dr. Joseph Dien’s electroencephalography lab contributing to vital research on Alzheimer’s Disease. At CSTS, he coordinates research about bereavement, combat injury, child maltreatment/neglect, and firearm practices within military populations and their families. Luke is passionate about improving the well-being of others through research and aims to obtain a graduate degree in clinical psychology and/or neuroscience.
