Luke L. Sumberg is the Study Coordinator for the Child and Family Program at CSTS. He graduated in 2023 from the University of Maryland Honors College with a BS in Neuroscience. At UMD, he worked as a research assistant in Dr. Joseph Dien’s electroencephalography lab, contributing to research on autism and Alzheimer's Disease through an investigation of the laterality of expectancy processes. At CSTS, he coordinates research about bereavement, combat injury, child maltreatment/neglect, and firearm practices within military populations and their families. Luke is passionate about improving the well-being of others through research and aims to obtain a graduate degree in clinical psychology and/or neuroscience. In his free time, he enjoys birding, bowling, and moviegoing.
