Bora Ya Diul joins CSTS from the University of Virginia, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Neuroscience (2025). While at the University of Virginia, Bora completed an honors thesis that investigated the positive and negative social experiences of adolescent Black girls. Bora’s research interests include examining the biological and psychological etiology of substance use disorder among young adults in an effort to develop effective treatments.
