AAmiris Roberson is the Project Manager on the Resilience and Stress in Homeland Security Employees Protocol and A Military Gun Counter Project: Evaluation of Secure Firearm Storage and Suicide Prevention Interventions at Marine Corps Exchange Gun Counters. Amiris attended Eastern Michigan University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and her Master of Public Health and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Public Health (DrPH) at Claremont Graduate University. Amiris is a dedicated project manager specializing in public health initiatives, with a focus on health equity and community-based interventions. Amiris has previously worked on vaccine public health education during the COVID-19 pandemic and supported local health departments in addressing vaccine hesitancy. With a strong background in leadership, advocacy, and policy, Amiris is passionate about improving health outcomes for marginalized communities. Amiris is a native Michigander living in the DMV area. In her free time, she enjoys watching sports, reading, and exercising.
