Alexandra is a Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS). She graduated from Georgetown University in May 2017 with a B.S. in Foreign Service. Alexandra worked in the national security field for several years before transitioning to a career in psychology, where she has developed an interest in sexual violence and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Alexandra is also an active member of Dr. Molly Franz’s Family Adversity Lab at the University of Maryland, Baltimore Country (UMBC), where she assists with research on understanding the impact of trauma on parenting. She hopes to one day complete a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
