Aaron is a Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS). He graduated from the University of Maryland in May 2021 with a B.S. in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Cell Biology and Genetics and completed a minor in Geochemistry. As an undergraduate student, Aaron had the opportunity to work in clinical research at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. At this facility, he worked in the Adult Emergency Department (ED) and assisted in conducting research focused on the improvement of care of Sickle Cell Disease patients when they present to the ED with painful vaso-occlusive crises. During his time at CSTS, Aaron hopes to enhance his research skills and learn about the fields of traumatic stress and military medicine. Aaron hopes to pursue a career in medicine and attend medical school in the future.
