Arrey Thomas is a research assistant at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS).  She is attending the University of Maryland, College Park, School of Public Health with a major in community health and anticipates graduating in the Spring of 2022. During her undergraduate degree, she worked as a research assistant within the University of Maryland School of Public Health focused on (physical and mental) public health outcomes due to our built environment. In addition, she developed a grant proposal & public health campaign on the topic of sleep disorders and difficulties relating to mental health with the target population of university students. Through her undergraduate research career she has gained a stronger understanding of public health through the application of social and behavioral sciences. In the future, she aims to build upon her knowledge and obtain her Master's in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology.
