Alysse is a Research Assistant at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress (CSTS). She graduated from Lehigh University with a B.A. in Psychology and Health, Medicine, and Society. At Lehigh, Alysse was a member of Dr. Gordon Moskowitz’s Social Cognition Lab, where she worked on projects related to social inferences, stereotyping, and non-conscious motivations to pursue egalitarian values. Most notably, Alysse completed a thesis studying the influence of gender on causal attributions of risky health behavior. Through her position at CSTS, Alysse hopes to advance her research skills and continue to develop her knowledge relating to healthcare. In the future she hopes to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology.
