Paul E. Hurwitz, M.P.H., is a Senior Program Manager at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress. He received his Master of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan with a dual major in Epidemiology and Health Administration. He has more than 30 years of experience in the administration and management of large-scale, multi-study, multi-year, multi-million dollar health-related research projects. His projects have included surveys, cohort studies, case-control studies, and other epidemiologic studies designed to investigate a wide array of different public health issues. These projects were carried out under contracts or grants with a variety of Federal government agencies including NIMH, NCI, NICHD, NIDA, NIOSH, EPA, CDC, and SAMHSA.
