Ms. Harris is a program manager with the Child and Family Program which focuses on military families in relation to bereavement, combat injuries and child neglect. Her professional experiences have included work in the public health sector as a substance abuse researcher, and more recently, human resources and project management positions. She is currently pursuing a dual master’s degree at the University of Maryland, University College in Health Care Administration (December 2011) and Business Administration (December 2012). Her future interests include health care research, health care delivery and quality, and patient safety.
